The Hell You Say!

The Bastard Junior Strikes Again!!!

Thought for the Day 3/22/06

As people, we are creatures of habit.  We do things the same way over and over, and give it very little thought.  We do the same thing with the products we buy.  For instance, my family are Ford people…. my grandfather was a Ford technician….all my life there have been Fords in the driveway. And what am I driving now……a Ford Explorer.  I do the same thing with Miracle Whip, Copenhagen snuff, and Wrangler Jeans.  If it ain’t broke don’t fix it right? Well all this proves is that as people, we are just a bunch of dumb ass sheep, being lead around by the nose.  Either by family influence, or advertising, we have very little cognitive thought in the stuff we buy.  Give me your thoughts on this.

  3. I beg to differ. Noone in my family could chew gum and walk at the same time, but I had a pretty good musical career. Noone to the best of my knowledge could swim……………me 21 years in the navy………the Ford thing I will go along with. It is all we ever owned. Mom and dad were the only marriage they had, ditto for my brother……..Me, I am on #5 and this fucker is just surviving and may last but I’m getting too old to even give a rats ass. Your probably right for the majority of the world but there are some who breeak the restraints of normalcy and shoot their wad………..

  4. Who the hell in our family would know what normalcy is. As I blew # 5 years ago, (pardon the pun you nasty minded boys)…..

Miracle Whip, Wrangler Jeans and Fords are about the only functional thing our family has ever known.
